Ireland’s Advertising Industry Represented At The Ad Net Zero Global Summit
26 October 2022Ad Net Zero, the advertising industry’s initiative to decarbonize ad operations and harness advertising’s power to drive sustainable behaviour change, will hold its second Global Summit on 9 & 10 November. The Summit will be broadcast live from Park Village in London to an international audience. Ad Net Zero supporters have the opportunity to attend in person & it is also broadcast online.
The Summit will include insights from advertising leaders around the world on tackling climate change, updates on carbon measurement for all aspects of ad operations, a new certification standard, a look at the latest rules around environmental claims, a review of the five key Ad Net Zero actions.
Ad Net Zero Ireland are delighted to announce that leading industry figures have been invited to speak at the summit from Ireland. They include Abi Moran, CEO Folk Wunderman Thompson and Vice President, IAPI & Elizabeth Sheehan, Sustainability and Marketing Consultant and Chair of Ad Net Zero Ireland. They will be participating in a panel discussion on the launch & setting up process of Ad Net Zero in Ireland at the Global Summit.

Ad Net Zero Ireland was launched in June 2022 by IAPI (Institute of Advertising Practitioners in Ireland), AAI (Advertising Association of Ireland), MII (The Marketing Institute of Ireland, CPI (Commercial Producers of Ireland) and IAB for the first full collaboration in Ireland across the advertising, marketing, media and production sector with a collective vision to address climate change and reduce carbon emissions across the industry.
There are currently 42 active Ad Net Zero Supporters in Ireland, with the supporter recruitment drive adding to this on a weekly basis.
